Greetings & Happy New Year! Thank you for visiting the site in honor of Felicenne “Fel” Houston. The family is committed to using this page as one way to reflect on Fel through the life of her son Anthony D. Kinslow II. To that end, we will provide quarterly updates on everything going on in “Anthony’s World.” Please periodically check the site, particularly in the next few years as we prepare for his college graduation. It will be a nice time to get together and celebrate his accomplishment and her life.

Anthony’s World:

  • Anthony successfully completed his first semester at North Carolina A&T with a B- average and we are very pleased with this milestone.
  • He spent Thanksgiving with his Father and Paternal Grandparents in Tennessee.
  • During Christmas break he visited family and friends in Maryland, Ohio, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Missouri. He celebrated Christmas with his Maternal Grandmother Kathleen Houston and New Years with his Father.
  • This semester he is studying Engineering in the Honor’s Program and currently enrolled in the following classes:
    • African American Studies
    • Contemporary World
    • Physics
    • Physics Lab
    • Calculus II
    • English Colloquium
    • Civil & Industrial Engineering
  • Anthony is in the process of joining the National Society for Black Engineers (NSBE).
  • He is going to Northern California for Spring Break in early March to see family and friends.
  • As he prepares for the summer, he is applying for internships. He hopes to go to St. Louis and work for Boeing.
  • In June he will travel with John Walter’s family on a Caribbean cruise.

Please continue to pray for the family and give Anthony a call if you pass through North Carolina between now and May.
